Lymphomatoid papulosis (LyP) is defined as a chronic recurrent skin disease characterized by waxing and waning papules and nodules with histologic features of a CD30-positive T-cell lymphoma. Three histological subtypes (A, B, and C) were already recognized, and only more recently, a further variant simulating histologically an aggressive epidermotropic CD8-positive T-cell lymphoma was described, which was named LyP type D by the authors. We report the case of a 38-year-old woman presenting with a 1-year history of recurrent self-healing papules and nodules, predominantly affecting her upper and lower limbs but also the face, including the lower lip, with no associated systemic symptoms.

Solitary pagetoid reticulosis, also known as Woringer-Kolopp disease, is a rare subtype of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The typical clinical presentation is a solitary, localized psoriasiform or hyperkeratotic plaque or tumor located on the extremities. It primarily affects middle-aged males.

We describe a 43-year-old patient with a solitary, eczematous plaque on his right nipple that had developed during the previous 6 weeks. Histopathology revealed a superficial band-like infiltrate of medium to large-sized pleomorphic lymphocytes with striking epidermotropism. The tumor cells expressed a T-phenotype (CD3+, CD20-) and were CD30-, CD4-, and CD8-negative.

Primary cutaneous lymphomas (CLs) are the second most common group of extranodal non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCLs) account for 60% to 65% of all primary CLs, whereas 20% to 25% of CLs are of B-cell origin. Besides the most common and well-known forms of CL, such as mycosis fungoides and follicular B-cell lymphomas, there are some rare and unusual variants of CL that represent about 10% of lymphoproliferative skin infiltrates.

A new non-linear mathematical model was constructed in order to perform in vivo quantification of the RES phagocytic function. This method is based on the same technical facilities as used for the routine liver-spleen scintigraphy with radiocolloids [1, 2]. But kinetic modeling of dynamic Tc-99m-sulfur colloid data produced estimations of the functional RE-parameters: the clearance rate of the colloidal particles, the rate of phagocytosis, and the RES functional volume, which can not be obtained by classical approaches.
