Introduction: Birth centers are an underused care setting with potential to improve birth experience and satisfaction. Both hospital-based and freestanding birth centers operate with the midwifery model of care that focuses on safe, low-intervention physiologic birth experiences for healthy, low-risk pregnant people. Chronic pelvic pain (CPP) is a medically complex, multifaceted gynecological condition associated with psychological comorbidities and sexual trauma among women. Low rates of positive treatment outcomes underscore the need to better understand complex relationships between CPP, trauma exposure, and the psychosocial context of patients' lives. We conducted a secondary analysis of English and Spanish qualitative interviews with female-identity patients (N = 48) about CPP's impact on psychosocial well-being.

Purpose: Identifying factors that disrupt cooperation during radiographic examination, such as dental fear and the gag reflex, is crucial for achieving optimal radiographic outcomes. The aim of the present study is to evaluate the levels of dental fear and cooperation amongst children aged 4-9 years undergoing intraoral radiographic examination at different stages of dental treatment. It also investigates the impact of the gag reflex on children's behaviour during intraoral radiographic examination.

Objective: To explore the role of Black-led community organisations in supporting Black mental health and wellbeing in the UK.

Design: A qualitative, Black Emancipatory Action Research Framework was adopted. Framework application involved adequately compensating community organisations for their consultancy role; having 'research conversations' rather than interviewing participants; and focusing outputs on community benefit.
