Introduction And Importance: The occurrence of ovarian tumors during pregnancy is relatively low, with an incidence of approximately 0.05 %. Both primary ovarian cancer and metastatic malignancies are uncommon in pregnant women, and there is often a delay in diagnosing these conditions.

Background: About 70% of women affected by ovarian cancer experience relapse within 2 years of diagnosis. Traditionally, the standard treatment for recurrent ovarian cancer (ROC) has been represented by systemic chemotherapy. Recently, several retrospective studies have suggested that secondary cytoreductive surgery could provide better clinical outcomes than chemotherapy alone, in the case of complete tumor cytoreduction.

Industrial accidents involving compressed air can lead to significant colonic injuries, ranging from minor tears to complete perforations. This study investigates a case of colonic barotrauma in a 40-year-old male oil refinery worker who suffered symptoms of lower abdominal discomfort, distension, and tenderness following the application of compressed air to his anus. Diagnostic tests, including blood count, abdominal X-ray, and ultrasonography, indicated fecal impaction, dilated bowel loops, and free gas under the diaphragm.

Background: Drug-induced immune hemolytic anemia (DIIHA) is a rare but serious condition, with an estimated incidence of one in 100,000 cases, associated with various antibiotics. This study reports on a case of ceftizoxime-induced hemolysis observed in a patient in China.
Case Description: A Chinese patient diagnosed with malignant rectal cancer underwent antimicrobial therapy after laparoscopic partial recto-sigmoid resection (L-Dixon).
