The quasi-experimental study was conducted at the Allied Hospital, Faisalabad to investigate the effect of complex decongestive physical therapy on sensory testing in postmastectomy- related lymphoedema patients. The sample comprised 18 participants enrolled using convenience sampling technique. All the participants received complex decongestive physical therapy during 5 sessions per week for 3 weeks.

Acellular Dermal Matrix (ADM) provides mechanical and soft tissue support in implant-based breast reconstruction, and has shown to modulate the healing response. However, skin flap necrosis, edema, and previous radiation therapy can hinder ADM integration. Effective biomaterial integration requires regulating the immune response, fibrosis, and adipocyte-driven functionalization.

Lymphedema is a chronic and debilitating condition characterized by an abnormal buildup of protein-rich fluid in the interstitial tissue, leading to the development of edema and tissue structural alterations. Breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) remains a significant healthcare burden because it can develop within days and up to 11-years after the surgery. Specifically, axillary lymph node dissection leads to 30-50 % upper limb lymphedema, which involves the accumulation of protein-rich fluid.

Purpose: Breast cancer surgery can cause changes in the anatomical structure of the shoulder and in shoulder mobility, leading to the increased possibility of long-term arm morbidity such as lymphedema. This study aims to evaluate the active shoulder joint position sense (AJPS) with and without lymphedema in postmastectomy patients.
Methods: A total of 66 women, including 22 patients with lymphedema, 22 patients without lymphedema, and 22 healthy controls, were enrolled in the study.

Material And Methods: This prospective study includes 94 patients who had postmastectomy lymphedema syndrome. The demographic characteristics of the patients were recorded.
