Fibroepithelial polyps are rare benign tumours that can cause obstruction of the urethra. Most such polyps occur during childhood. We present two patients, one is a child, the second an adult male. The problematic diagnosis is emphasized.

To investigate the clinicopathological features, diagnosis, genetic alterations, and biological behaviors of hamartomatous inverted hyperplastic polyp (HIHP) in the gastrointestinal tract. The clinical, sonographic, endoscopic and pathologic data of 10 HIHP cases diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University, Xi'an, China from January 2013 to March 2024 were collected. Their clinicopathological features and histological morphology were analyzed.

Nasal and paranasal sinus masses can arise from a wide range of conditions, both benign and malignant, as well as congenital or acquired. Diagnosing these masses is often challenging, requiring a combination of nasal endoscopy, imaging studies, and histopathological analysis. Initial imaging frequently involves computed tomography or cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to evaluate the bony anatomy of the nasal cavity and surrounding sinuses, while magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is typically used for detailed assessment of soft tissues and to aid in differential diagnosis when the findings are inconclusive.

A hamartoma is a benign tumor that arises from the disorganized proliferation of tissue and can occur anywhere in the body. Hamartomas are notably found in the lung, skin, heart, brain, and breast, while their occurrence in the head and neck is rare. We describe a case involving a 17-year-old male patient who presented with a mass in a unilateral palatine tonsil, discovered incidentally.
