Purpose: Fertility preservation (FP) is a critical concern for young breast cancer (YBC) patients receiving gonadotoxic treatments. Breast surgical healthcare providers (HCPs) play a pivotal role in discussing FP options and facilitating timely referrals. This study aimed to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of breast surgical HCPs in China regarding FP, identify barriers to FP discussions, and examine factors influencing referral practices.

Methods: An empirical phenomenological approach was employed. HCPs were recruited from the hematology, reproductive medicine, and ethics committee professionals of eight tertiary hospitals in China using purposive sampling.

This systematic review examines evidence on establishing dedicated AYA oncology units, focusing on logistical, infrastructural, and personnel-related recommendations. A PRISMA-guided search of PubMed (2000-2024) identified seven studies that emphasized early stakeholder involvement and collaboration between pediatric and adult oncology teams to ensure comprehensive care.
