Autocratic governments around the world use clandestine propaganda campaigns to influence the media. We document a decade-long trend in China toward the planting of government-authored articles in party and commercial newspapers. To examine this phenomenon, we develop an approach to identifying scripted propaganda-the coerced reprinting of lightly adapted government-authored articles in newspapers-that leverages the footprints left by the government when making media interventions.

Background: In recent decades, social networks have experienced an exponential increase involving millions of users and transforming the way they communicate in the medical community, becoming an important tool in medicine, where plastic surgery has not been an exception.
Objectives: We aimed to present a review of the effects of social networks in the area of plastic surgery, the main existing regulatory frameworks, and propose the basic aspects for the adequate use of these platforms in the practice of our profession.
Methods: A literature search was performed, including scientific articles, specific existing guides from the USA, Australia, Brazil, and Argentina, as well as articles in digital newspapers and Google regarding emblematic cases.

The age at first birth is a critical determinant of maternal and child health, educational attainment, and economic stability, yet limited research has focused on tribal women, a marginalized group with distinct cultural and socioeconomic contexts. This study aims to identify the sociodemographic factors influencing the age at first birth among tribal women in India.

Background Context: Generative artificial intelligence (AI), ChatGPT being the most popular example, has been extensively assessed for its capability to respond to medical questions, such as queries in spine treatment approaches or technological advances. However, it often lacks scientific foundation or fabricates inauthentic references, also known as AI hallucinations.
Purpose: To develop an understanding of the scientific basis of generative AI tools by studying the authenticity of references and reliability in comparison to the alignment of responses of evidence-based guidelines.
