Adaptive radiotherapy (ART) refers to methods that allow a radiation therapy plan to be adjusted based on images obtained during the treatment. Using cutting-edge imaging methods such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and positron emission tomography (PET), ART can adjust the treatment plan in response to observed changes in anatomy and even biology while the patient is receiving treatment. The backbone of ART is intensity-modulated RT (IMRT), which permits better sparing of normal critical organs while still delivering a uniform dose to target tumor volume.

Background: Deep cerebral venous thrombosis (DCVT) can have long-term functional and cognitive sequelae. Although literature exists on cognitive impairment after arterial stroke, cognitive sequelae after cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) are much less studied.

Methods: Clinical records of 29 patients diagnosed with DCVT were reviewed.

Importance: Patients with early breast cancer must choose between undergoing breast conservation surgery or mastectomy. This decision is often difficult as there are trade-offs between breast conservation and adverse effects, and women with higher decisional conflict have a harder time choosing the therapy that suits their preferences.

Objective: To study the impact of a decision aid with a patient preference assessment tool for surgical decision-making on patients' decisional conflict scale (DCS) score.

Objectives: To study the relationship between opportunistic CT bone density measurements and the occurrence of new vertebral fractures after percutaneous vertebral cementoplasty (PVC) of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCF).

Methods: A prospective analysis of retrospective data of 275 patients with OVCF treated by PVC between 2014 and 2019 with a clinico-radiological follow-up one year after treatment was conducted. Opportunistic bone density measurements were obtained at the trabecular bone of the L1 or an adjacent vertebra in Hounsfield units performed on the preoperative CT study.
