In this paper, the axisymmetric general solutions of transversely isotropic magnetoelectroelastic media are expressed with four harmonic displacement functions at first. Then, based on the solutions, the analytical three-dimensional solutions are provided for a simply supported magnetoelectroelastic circular plate subjected to uniform loads. Finally, the example of circular plate is presented.

Background: Distal radius fractures are prevalent in small and toy-breed dogs, presenting significant treatment challenges due to complications such as delayed union or non-union. These complications are often exacerbated by reduced vascular density at the distal diaphyseal-metaphyseal junction of the radius, which is vital for bone healing, particularly in toy and small breed dogs. Circular external fixation (CEF) is known for its effectiveness in managing acute and chronic fractures and providing temporary stabilization in humans.

Electroplating is a widely used technology for anticorrosion materials and decorative coatings. In view of the transition to a circular economy, the current electroplating wastewater treatment disposing of heavy metal sludge and wastewater severely lacks sustainability. Authors recently reported the successful recycling of electroplating agents using hybrid semibatch/batch reverse osmosis technology (hybrid RO).

A 57-year-old man presented with a tibial shaft fracture treated with tibial intramedullary nail fixation and plate and screw fixation for fibular fracture. Two weeks postoperatively, the patient developed skin sloughing with exposed bone and metal at the fracture site. Three weeks postoperatively, a physical examination revealed swelling of the left lateral malleolus and lower leg, a skin defect of approximately 3 × 5 cm at the lower third of the left tibia with an exposed fracture site and hardware in between the fracture fragments.

The tensile properties of fiber metal laminates were examined at temperatures ranging from 30 °C to 180 °C in this paper through the integration of numerical simulation techniques, experimental measurements, and digital image correlation techniques. The laminates were initially modeled using finite elements, and the failure behavior of porous basalt-fiber-reinforced aluminum alloy plates was numerically simulated. Consequently, metal fiber laminate stress-strain responses were varied by numerous tensile experiments conducted at varying temperatures.

Ethyl cellulose (EC), a degradable cellulose derivative, served as a primary component in membranes fabricated by electrospinning for in vitro drug delivery applications. An effective strategy to enhance drug release was incorporating high-surface-area nanomaterials into polymeric drug carriers, which facilitated drug attachment to both the polymer matrix and additive surfaces, promoting release. MXene (TiCT) demonstrated promising potential in improving tensile mechanical properties, antibacterial activity, and curcumin (Cur) release performance of EC membrane.
