Digital health interventions have emerged as a promising approach for patient care. The aim of this study was to conduct a systematic review of pharmacist-led digital health interventions for patients with diabetes. The PubMed database was used to select randomized controlled trials that assess the effectiveness of digital health interventions on clinical outcomes among patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes from January 2005 to May 2024.

Introduction: Weight is vital for tracking fluid status and nutrition and assuring patients have accurate dosing weights in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Challenges in acquiring weights in critically ill patients include clinical instability, limited equipment, and lack of appropriate orders in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Methods: We implemented interventions that targeted EMR weight orders and actual collection of weights in the 42-bed PICU of a children's hospital.

Low medication adherence poses a great risk of poor treatment outcomes among patients with chronic diseases. Recently, mobile applications (apps) have been recognized as effective interventions, enabling patients to adhere to their prescriptions. This study aimed to establish the effectiveness of mobile app interventions for medication adherence, affecting features, and dropout rates by focusing on previous randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

The latest 2022 WHO classification of the parathyroid tumors incorporates recent data on parathyroid pathophysiology, in particular from genetic sequencing. It highlights histological features potentially indicative of underlying genetic abnormalities, because of their implications for patient management. Immunohistochemical markers can help characterize parathyroid lesions and molecular screening.
