The range of knowledge of the diseases of oesophagus, stomach and pancreas amongst 277 trainees in general surgery has been investigated by means of the 180 multiple-choice question examination. Analysis of the results revealed that the knowledge of the above subject with constituted 19% of the questions, does not differ from that of the rest of general surgery problems, distributed in the remaining 81% of the test's content.

Objective: The clinical benefits of neoadjuvant bevacizumab plus chemotherapy in locally advanced gastric cancer patients are controversial. This study intended to evaluate the efficacy and safety of neoadjuvant bevacizumab plus chemotherapy in these patients.
Methods: In this retrospective study, 71 locally advanced gastric cancer patients receiving neoadjuvant bevacizumab plus chemotherapy or neoadjuvant chemotherapy alone were divided into bevacizumab plus chemo group (N = 23) and chemo group (N = 48).

Recently, therapies targeting DLL3 have shown clinical efficacy in aggressive NENs, including small cell lung cancers and neuroendocrine prostate cancers. Introduction: Primary squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is a rare type of pancreatic cancer with an extremely low incidence rate and a prognosis that is poorer than that of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
Presentation Of Case: We report a case of pure pancreatic SCC in an 80-year-old man. Based on the examination before surgical resection, we did not detect any SCC lesions that might have metastasized to the pancreas.
