Objective: This study aims to explore the role of exosome-related genes in breast cancer (BRCA) metastasis by integrating RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq (scRNA-seq) data from BRCA samples and to develop a reliable prognostic model.
Methods: Initially, a comprehensive analysis was conducted on exosome-related genes from the BRCA cohort in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. Three prognostic genes (JUP, CAPZA1 and ARVCF) were identified through univariate Cox regression and Lasso-Cox regression analyses, and a metastasis-related risk score model was established based on these genes.

With the rapid development of gene editing technology, its application in breast cancer has gradually become the focus of research. This article reviews the application of gene editing technology in the treatment of breast cancer, and discusses its challenges and future development directions. The key application areas of gene editing technology in the treatment of breast cancer will be outlined, including the discovery of new therapeutic targets and the development of drugs related to the pathway.

Integrating functional proteomics and next-generation sequencing (NGS) offers a comprehensive approach to unraveling the molecular intricacies of breast cancer. This study investigates the functional interplay between genomic alterations and protein expression in Taiwanese breast cancer patients. By analyzing 61 breast cancer samples using tandem mass tag (TMT) labeling and mass spectrometry, coupled with whole-exome sequencing (WES) or targeted sequencing, we identified key genetic mutations and their impact on protein expression.

Cancer disrupts intratumoral innate-adaptive immune crosstalk, but how the systemic immune landscape evolves during breast cancer progression remains unclear. We profiled circulating immune cells in stage I-III and stage IV triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) patients and healthy donors (HDs). Metastatic TNBC (mTNBC) patients had reduced T cells, dendritic cells, and differentiated B cells compared to non-metastatic TNBC patients and HDs, partly linked to prior chemotherapy.
