Efficacy of chloroquine followed by primaquine has been monitored in 153 patients in seven districts of Azerbaijan. Chloroquine is fully effective over the first 14 days and the combination of chloroquine and primaquine is 100% effective over 28 days.

Background: We aimed to analyze the epidemiology, clinical characteristics, and outcomes of malaria caused by among military members of the Republic of Korea (ROK).
Methods: We reviewed the medical records of patients diagnosed with malaria in 16 military hospitals in the ROK between 2012-2021, excluding other types of malaria, as well as imported cases and those treated in civilian hospitals.
Results: In total, 653 patients were treated for malaria.

Objectives: This study explored 11 years of malaria data from mandatory reporting in Gyeonggi Province, Korea, to provide information for prevention strategies by linkage to nationwide health claims data.
Methods: Reported malaria cases in Gyeonggi Province from 2011 to 2021 were linked to medical usage data from the National Health Insurance Database. Data about hospitalization, antibiotic prescription and duration, malarial species, and sociodemographic information of the cases were included.
