The structure of 1, 1'-and 1, 2'-dinaphthyl methanone synthesized by the reaction of naphthalene with oxalyl chloride in the presence of AlCl3 were studied by using UV and FTIR in this paper. The analysis results showed that the difference of structures (symmetry) of 1,1'-and 1, 2'-dinaphthyl methanone were represented on the obvious difference of the spectra of UV and FTIR.

Introduction: Insecticide-treated bed nets are often used as a physical barrier to prevent infection of malaria. In Sub-Saharan Africa, one of the most important ways of reducing the malaria burden is the utilization of insecticide-treated bed nets. However, there is no sufficient information on the utilization of insecticide-treated bed nets and their associated factors in Ethiopia.

All-polymer piezo-ionic-electric electronics.

Nat Commun

December 2024

Key Laboratory of Advanced Technologies of Materials (Ministry of Education), School of Materials Science and Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, 610031, China.

Piezoelectric electronics possess great potential in flexible sensing and energy harvesting applications. However, they suffer from low electromechanical performance in all-organic piezoelectric systems due to the disordered and weakly-polarized interfaces. Here, we demonstrated an all-polymer piezo-ionic-electric electronics with PVDF/Nafion/PVDF (polyvinylidene difluoride) sandwich structure and regularized ion-electron interfaces.

Phononic modulation of spin-lattice relaxation in molecular qubit frameworks.

Nat Commun

December 2024

Department of Chemistry, School of Science and Research Center for Industries of the Future, Westlake University, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.

The solid-state integration of molecular electron spin qubits could promote the advancement of molecular quantum information science. With highly ordered structures and rational designability, microporous framework materials offer ideal matrices to host qubits. They exhibit tunable phonon dispersion relations and spin distributions, enabling optimization of essential qubit properties including the spin-lattice relaxation time (T) and decoherence time.

This study introduces a novel method for achieving highly ordered-crystalline InGaO [0 ≤ x ≤ 0.6] thin films on Si substrates at 250 °C using plasma-enhanced atomic-layer-deposition (PEALD) with dual seed crystal layers (SCLs) of γ-AlO and ZnO. Field-effect transistors (FETs) with random polycrystalline InGaO channels (grown without SCLs) show a mobility (µFE) of 85.

Safflower ( L.) is a valuable oil crop due to its bioactive ingredients and high linoleic acid content, which contribute to its antioxidant properties and potential for preventing atherosclerosis. Current research on safflower focuses on understanding the biosynthesis of seed oil through omics strategies, yet there is a lack of comprehensive knowledge of the dynamic changes in lipids and the regulatory mechanisms during seed development.
