Objective: To study the effects of the body position changes on FCG in pilots so as to explore the possibility of using FCG as an indicator of medical monitoring and medical support.
Method: 65 pilots were examined in 4 different body positions, i.e. supine position, head-down position, standing position and sitting position. Twelve channel routine electrocardiogram was recorded synchronously, and their complaints were also recorded.
Result: The grade distribution and abnormal cases of the FCG varied with the body positions. The orders of changing magnitude were: the standing position, the head-down position, the sitting position and the supine position. The changes accorded with that of 12 channels routine ECG synchronously recorded and complaints of the subjects.
Conclusion: The FCG was an objective index representing the cardiac functional status.

Background And Objectives: Surgical planning is critical to achieve optimal outcome in deep brain stimulation (DBS). The relationship between clinical outcomes and DBS electrode position relative to subthalamic nucleus (STN) is well investigated, but the role of surgical trajectory remains unclear. We sought to determine whether preoperatively planned DBS lead trajectory relates to adequate motor outcome in STN-DBS for Parkinson's disease (PD).

Functional and esthetic results require accurate implant placement. We aimed to develop a predictive method for assessing dental implant accuracy, and to evaluate the cumulative system influence of surgical guides. A mathematical model was constructed to determine the influence of surface changes on a specific point, using Jacobian matrix expressions.

Introduction: This paper developed and used practice vignettes to understand sexual assault nurse examiners' perceptions of self-confidence to provide care for Black, Indigenous, and transgender sexual violence survivors. Sexual assault nurse examiners are uniquely positioned to provide patient-centered postsexual violence health care but not all sexual assault nurse examiners receive culturally specific and identity-affirming training. Black/African American, Indigenous, and/or transgender people disproportionately experience sexual violence but may receive poorer health care after sexual violence compared with white cisgender people.

Spiking neural networks seek to emulate biological computation through interconnected artificial neuron and synapse devices. Spintronic neurons can leverage magnetization physics to mimic biological neuron functions, such as integration tied to magnetic domain wall (DW) propagation in a patterned nanotrack and firing tied to the resistance change of a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ), captured in the domain wall-magnetic tunnel junction (DW-MTJ) device. Leaking, relaxation of a neuron when it is not under stimulation, is also predicted to be implemented based on DW drift as a DW relaxes to a low energy position, but it has not been well explored or demonstrated in device prototypes.
