Electronic address:
Purpose: To validate the safety and efficacy of radiation segmentectomy (RS) and modified radiation lobectomy (mRL) in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) and to evaluate long-term outcomes in patients with unresectable, early-stage iCCA.
Materials And Methods: A single-institution, retrospective study of patients with unresectable, solitary iCCA without extrahepatic disease or vascular involvement (stage I) treated with RS and mRL was performed. Fifteen patients met inclusion criteria (median age 65.

Purpose: Exploring the computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG-PET)/CT Multimodal Imaging Characteristics of Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT) to enhance the diagnostic proficiency of this condition.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on clinical data and multimodal imaging manifestations (CT, MRI, FDG-PET/CT) of eight cases of DSRCT. These findings were systematically compared with pathological results to succinctly summarize imaging features and elucidate their associations with both clinical and pathological characteristics.

Background: The prognostic impact of preoperative gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase to platelet ratio (GPR) levels in patients with solitary hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) following radical resection has not been established.
Aim: To examine the clinical utility of GPR for prognosis prediction in solitary HBV-related HCC patients.
Methods: A total of 1167 solitary HBV-related HCC patients were retrospectively analyzed.

A 59-year-old man presented with a mass and pain in the left side of his back for 6 months. 18F-FDG PET/CT demonstrated increased FDG uptake in the inferior aspect of his left scapula and the left hepatic lobe, highly suggesting the possibility of hepatic malignancy with solitary scapula metastasis. Finally, solitary scapula metastasis from intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma was confirmed.
