The effect of relaxation on the epitope mapping by saturation transfer difference NMR.

The effect of longitudinal relaxation of ligand protons on saturation transfer difference (STD) was investigated by using a known binding system, dihydrofolate reductase and trimethoprim. The results indicate that T1 relaxation of ligand protons has a severe interference on the epitope map derived from a STD measurement. When the T1s of individual ligand protons are distinctly different, STD experiments may not give an accurate epitope map for the ligand-target interactions. Measuring the relaxation times prior to mapping is strongly advised. A saturation time shorter than T1s is suggested for improving the potential epitope map. Reduction in temperature was seen to enhance the saturation efficiency in small to medium size targets.

The aim of this report is to demonstrate its stability in multiple stressed in vitro conditions and in vivo, in rat kidney, while maintaining its higher relaxivity compared with conventional GBCAs on the market.

Materials And Methods: Both gadopiclenol and its chemical precursor Pi828-Gd were characterized and compared with q = 1 gadolinium (Gd) complexes.

Metal complexes with tunable ligands play a crucial role in olefin polymerization and impart control over molecular weight, crystallinity, and stereoregularity. Peptide-drug conjugates (PDCs) constructed by modifying antitumor drugs with peptide ligands that have high affinity to certain overexpressed receptors in tumor cells are increasingly assessed for their possibility of tumor-selective drug delivery. We report the proton-coupled electron transfer (PCET) reactivity of an octahedral Ta(V) aniline complex supported by an acridane-derived redox active NNN pincer ligand. The reversible binding of aniline to a Ta(V) dichloride induces significant coordination-induced bond weakening (CIBW) of the aniline N-H bonds. This enables a rare two-fold hydrogen atom abstraction, resulting in a terminal imido complex and a two-electron oxidation of the NNN pincer ligand, all while maintaining the metal's oxidation state.
