Spasticity is a common comorbidity of spinal cord injury (SCI), disrupting motor function and resulting in significant discomfort. While elements of post-SCI spasticity can be assessed using pre-clinical SCI models, the robust measurement of spasticity severity can be difficult due to its periodic and spontaneous appearance. Electrical stimulation of sensory afferents can elicit spasticity-associated motor responses, such as spasms; however, placing surface electrodes on the hindlimbs of awake animals can induce stress or encumbrance that could influence the expression of behaviour.

Introduction And Importance: Myiasis is an overlooked public health issue, with urogenital myiasis (UGM) being particularly rare, as evidenced by only 59 reported cases worldwide from 1975 to 2017. There is a notable scarcity of cases involving patients with prolonged catheter use related to SCI. The interaction of SCI with the complications associated with indwelling urinary devices is less frequently discussed in prior literature.

Background: Cycling involves specific body positions that, when maintained for prolonged periods, may affect spinal curvature and increase the risk of pain-related issues. This study aimed to evaluate sagittal spinal curvatures, the prevalence of pain in spinal segments, and their interrelation among amateur road cyclists. Methoods: The research included 30 male participants aged 18-48 years.

High mutation rates in SARS-CoV-2, particularly among immunocompromised patients living with HIV, continue to complicate the current COVID-19 pandemic. The threshold for severe COVID-19 and a greater risk of mortality have increased in many immunocompromised individuals due to a weakened immune system. Low CD4+ T-cell counts in people living with both HIV and COVID-19 lead to prolonged disease duration and, therefore, an increased likelihood of viral infection with SARS-CoV-2 mutations in such individuals.

Objective: This study aimed to elucidate the clinical manifestations, laboratory findings and outcomes of patients with intravascular large B cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) with neurological involvement and to differentiate IVLBCL with and without neurological involvement.
Methods: A cohort study was conducted at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, between January 2005 and September 2024. Clinical data, laboratory values and central nervous system imaging results were analysed.
