: Delayed gastric conduit emptying (DGCE) occurs in 15-39% of patients who undergo esophagectomy. Intra-Pyloric Injection of Botulinum Toxin (IPBT), Pneumatic Balloon Dilation (PBD), and the same session combination (BTPD) represent the main endoscopic procedures, but comparative data are currently unavailable. : We retrospectively analyzed prospectively collected data on all consecutive patients with DGCE treated endoscopically with IPBT, PBD, or BTPD.

This systematic review investigates the effect of botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT) therapy on cancer-related disorders. A major bulk of the literature is focused on BoNT's effect on pain at the site of surgery or radiation. All 13 published studies on this issue indicated reduction or cessation of pain at these sites after local injection of BoNTs.

Objectives: Chronic nausea and vomiting may be associated with gastroparesis or other conditions. Poor mechanistic understanding of symptoms often precludes targeted therapy. Numerous case series suggest that intrapyloric botulinum toxin injection (IPBI) may be beneficial in treating gastroparesis and dyspepsia in children.

Background: Gastrointestinal complaints are common in children with neurodisabilities, vomiting, retching and poor feed tolerance are frequently reported. Endolumenal functional lumen imaging probe (EndoFLIP) is used to assess compliance and distensibility of the pylorus and can predict response to Botulinum Toxin in adult with gastroparesis. We aimed to review pyloric muscle measurements using EndoFLIP in children with neuromuscular disabilities and significant foregut symptoms and to assess the clinical response to intrapyloric Botulinum Toxin.
