Analysis of the incidence, types, and severity of maxillofacial wounds inflicted during local and boundary conflicts showed increased incidence of the most severe wounds with injuries to both jaws. The efficiency of medical care rendered to victims with facial wounds is determined by the level of specialized training of nurses and physician's assistants.
