Introduction: Pregnancy induces physiological changes, including alterations in cardiovascular dynamics, predisposing pregnant women to supine hypotension syndrome (SHS) during lower-segment cesarean section (LSCS) under spinal anesthesia. Various methods, including manual displacement of the uterus and use of wedges or cushions, have been proposed to prevent SHS, but their effectiveness remains variable. This study aimed to compare the efficacy of a novel 3D-printed uterine displacement device with that of a traditional wedge in preventing SHS during LSCS after spinal anesthesia.

Background: To evaluate the risk factors associated with WOI (window of implantation) displacement based on ERT (endometrial receptivity test), and to confirm the association of ectopic pregnancy with WOI displacement.
Methods: This is a retrospective study at the Reproductive Medicine Center of Xiangya Hospital from January 2020 to April 2024, consisting of 934 patients who performed ERT. The patients underwent 3771 assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles and 2629 embryo transfer (ET) cycles, with each patient experiencing at least one implantation failure.

Introduction: Consensus contouring guidelines for intensity-modulated-radiation-therapy (IMRT) of patients with locally advanced cervix cancer (LACC) advise including the whole uterus in the target volume and adding generous planning-target-volumes (PTVs) to account for motion uncertainties of the gross-tumor-volume (GTV). The primary objective of this analysis was to assess the interfractional GTV motions using a magnetic-resonance-image (MRI) guided-Radiation-Therapy (MRgRT) system to investigate the margins required for MRgRT treatments.
Methods: 125 daily set-up MRIs from five patients with LACC who received MRgRT were analyzed.

Purpose: Intrauterine device is one of the most preferred birth control method in the world. Being able to predict that the intrauterine device will not dislocate is very important in terms of preventing unwanted pregnancies. Here, we evaluated the role of uterocervical angle in displacement of intrauterine device and to determine whether it has a discriminative role for displacement.

Background: Intrauterine devices (IUDs) are among the most popular contraceptive methods globally due to their convenience and cost-effectiveness. However, improper placement can lead to complications such as device migration and uterine perforation, with increased risk observed when IUDs are implanted within four to six weeks postpartum. Typically, patients are asymptomatic or experience mild lower abdominal discomfort or minor abnormal vaginal bleeding following IUD displacement.
