Through analyzing the contents of metabolites of BHC and derivatives of DDT in the runoff from paddy and corn land in the Western Songnen Plain, it was found that the contents of BHC and DDT were very lower and beta-BHC, which accounted for 73.5%-99.5% of the contents of BHC, was the main metabolite of BHC in the runoff. Among the derivatives of DDT, only p, p-DDT was detected out. Moreover, dissolved form was the dominant species of metabolites and derivatives, but the particles size was one of the important factors which affect on the contents of BHC and DDT in runoff. The ecological risk of DDT in suspended substance of runoff from farmland was lower and BHC had potential risk in the region.

Common carp () is extensively cultured and widely consumed in Heilongjiang Province, China. Due to the proximity of freshwater ponds to agricultural cultivated areas, these aquatic systems are inevitably influenced by the historical application of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), due to their prolonged half-life and resistance to degradation. Gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) was utilized to quantify the levels of hexachlorocyclohexane (HCHs) and dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDTs) in the muscle tissue of cultured common carp.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a very challenging disease with a very poor prognosis. It is characterized by a dense desmoplastic stroma that hampers drug penetration and limits the effectiveness of conventional chemotherapy (CT). As an alternative, the combination of CT with hyperthermia (HT) has been proposed as an innovative treatment modality for PDAC.

Introduction: Fungi, including , may be a trigger or exacerbate psoriasis, especially in difficult to treat (DTT) areas, through the activation of IL-17/23 axis.
Methods: In this study, seventy patients with DDT psoriasis were enrolled to evaluate species and/or other opportunistic fungi colonization rate at baseline (T0) and the impact of apremilast on fungal load, clinical outcome, serum cytokine levels and biochemical serum profile of patients after 16, 24 and 52 weeks of treatment.
Results: In our population, 33 (47%) patients were colonized by spp.

Background: The leg interosseous membrane (LIM) stabilises the tibia and the fibula. These two bones articulate at the proximal and distal tibiofibular joints. In addition, the LIM is the place of attachment of tibialis anterior muscle, extensor digitorum longus muscle, fibularis tertius muscle (anatomical variant), tibialis posterior muscle and flexor hallucis longus muscle.

Introduction: Ferroptosis is a crucial process contributing to neuronal damage following intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Didang Tang (DDT), a traditional therapeutic, has been used clinically to manage ICH for many years, yet the molecular mechanisms by which by DDT protects neurons from ferroptosis after ICH remain elusive.
Methods: This study utilized high-performance liquid chromatography-based fingerprint analysis to characterize DDT's chemical composition.
