Fetal intracranial vascular tumors present unique clinical challenges. Accurate diagnosis of the lesion, as well as an understanding of the local and systemic impacts, will guide the antenatal surveillance and the treatment plan and will determine the prognosis. Management will be altered by and dependent on intrauterine progression, gestational age, and fetal condition at birth. In addition, large vascular tumors can lead to the development of the Kasabach-Merritt sequence in the fetus and to either fetal or maternal hemodynamic impairment. Vascular tumors are either malformations or neoplasms. Color and pulsed wave Doppler sonography are useful for the identification of vascular lesions and help narrow the differential diagnosis. Once a vascular malformation is identified, a comprehensive anatomic survey is mandatory to determine whether there are coexistent malformations that impact either the diagnosis or prognosis. These lesions can have local mass effects, systemic hemodynamic effects, or both. Therefore, longitudinal assessment of the fetus is focused on the detection of lesion progression and on any fetal or maternal status changes. We report the prenatal diagnosis of an intracranial arteriovenous malformation (AVM) with a dramatic progression affecting both mother and fetus.

surgery for rectal cancer often presents multiple tactical and technical challenges due to factors such as the tumor's extent, limited anatomical space, proximity to the anal sphincter complex, and the use of neoadjuvant radiotherapy. These factors can significantly increase the complexity of surgery and the risk of both immediate and delayed complications, which can occur intraoperatively or postoperatively. Objective: the aim of this study was to retrospectively analyze the causes, diagnostic methods, and management of complications in patients who underwent surgery for rectal cancer.

Background: Oesophageal cancer (EC) is one of the common malignant tumors, and the prognosis of patients is poor. Further exploration of EC pathogenesis remains warranted.
Objective: The relationship between vascular epithelial cadherin (VE-cadherin) and chitinase-3-like protein 1 (CHI3L1) in EC is currently unknown.

Background: Intrapericardial pneumonectomy is a complex procedure indicated for large lung tumors where safe dissection of major vascular structures outside the pericardium is unfeasible or when the pericardium itself is invaded. Traditionally managed via open thoracotomy, recent advancements in VATS techniques now allow for intrapericardial pneumonectomy even in cases with extensive tumors or locally advanced disease. In this article, we detail the clinical outcomes and surgical considerations of six patients with non-small cell lung cancer who underwent VATS intrapericardial pneumonectomy.

Background: Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is an uncommon vascular malignancy characterized by an unpredictable clinical course and a high potential for recurrence and metastasis. The lack of standard treatment guidelines, coupled with the tumor's inconsistent response to available treatments, complicates the management of EHE and leads to widely varying patient prognoses.
Case Presentation: We report two cases of EHE with distinct presentations reflecting the site of involvement.

Purpose: Antiangiogenesis therapy has become a hot field in cancer research. Given that tumor blood vessels often express specific markers related to angiogenesis, the study of these heterogeneous molecules in different tumor vessels holds promise for advancing anti-angiogenic therapy. Previously using phage display technology, we identified a targeting peptide named GX1 homing to gastric cancer vessels for the first time.
