The social aspects of child health have been emphasized recently. A better understanding requires of Humanities, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Public Health and Health Sciences. The application of these is requested in the pediatric activities.

Background: Oral propranolol therapy is currently the first choice for infants with infantile hemangiomas (IHs) requiring systemic treatment. This study aims to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of oral propranolol therapy for IHs and to assess the role of a multidisciplinary medical team in supporting optimal treatment.
Materials And Methods: Clinical data were retrospectively reviewed from medical records in 150 Japanese infants with IH treated with propranolol orally at Toranomon Hospital.

Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) represents the most common inherited kidney disorder leading to kidney failure in a significant percentage of patients over time. Although previously considered as an adult disease, robust evidence demonstrated that clinical manifestations might occur during childhood and adolescence.
