Employing microbotox technique for facial rejuvenation and face-lift.

Background: Microbotox technique, intradermal injection of microdroplets of botulinum toxin, is a favorable rejuvenation approach in subjects who prefer more natural appearance.
Aim: To determine the best injection techniques (dosage, concentration, as well as number and location of injection points), efficacy and side effects of this innovative technique for facial rejuvenation.
Methods: We conducted a search in Pubmed, Embase, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases from conception until October 2021 with keywords "microbotox" OR "mesobotox" OR "intradermal injection" AND "botulinum toxin" AND "rejuvenation" AND "wrinkle" AND "face-lift.

Minimally invasive fractional rejuvenation was developed to overcome the drawbacks of the traditional ablative laser. The Fotona 4D laser is one of these lasers used for face lifting. This laser uses two wavelengths such as Nd-YAG 1064 and Er-YAG 2940 nm in four different modes of non-ablative and ablative fractional laser to induce bulk heating in different tissue layers of facial skin.

Methods: In this prospective review chart study, a total of 58 patients were included (from July 2018 to July 2019). All participants underwent facial thread lifting using APTOS.

Recently, radiofrequency (RF)-assisted lipolysis and liposuction (RFAL) has been introduced for body and face contouring.
