Cardiac sarcomas are rare, aggressive malignancies originating from various cardiac cell types, presenting significant challenges in both diagnosis and treatment. This comprehensive review explores recent advancements in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac angiosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, and rhabdomyosarcoma. And we briefly discuss the exceedingly rare occurrence of cardiac osteosarcoma and present our perspectives on its treatment.

Hemangiosarcoma is a highly malignant tumor commonly affecting canines, originating from endothelial cells that line blood vessels, underscoring the importance of early detection. This canine cancer is analogous to human angiosarcoma, and the development of liquid biopsies leveraging cell-free DNA (cfDNA) represents a promising step forward in early cancer diagnosis. In this study, we utilized Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) to analyze fragment sizes and copy number alterations (CNAs) in cfDNA from 21 hemangiosarcoma-affected and 36 healthy dogs, aiming to enhance early cancer detection accuracy through machine learning models.

Introduction: Recent epidemiological data suggests a rising incidence of breast angiosarcoma (AS-B) in the Western population, with over two-thirds related to irradiation or chronic lymphedema. However, unlike head and neck angiosarcoma (AS-HN), AS-B disease characteristics in Asia remain unclear.
Methods: We examined clinical patterns of angiosarcoma patients (n = 176) seen in an Asiantertiary cancer center from 1999 to 2021, and specifically investigated the molecular and immune features of AS-B in comparison to AS-HN.

Objective: The goal of this study was to better understand the epidemiology, clinical characteristics, and treatment outcomes of head and neck sarcomas using real-world data from Japan.
Methods: Using the Japanese Head and Neck Cancer Registry, we identified 438 patients who were pathologically diagnosed with head and neck sarcoma between 2011 and 2020. We compared epidemiological, clinical, and prognostic data for the different histological types of sarcoma.

Introduction: POT1 tumor predisposition (POT1-TPD) is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by increased lifetime malignancy risk. Melanoma, angiosarcoma, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia are the most frequently reported malignancies [1]. Protection of telomeres protein 1 (POT1) is part of the shelterin protein complex to maintain/protect telomeres [2].
