A procedure of isolation of human blood plasma prekallikrein, coagulation factor XII and active fragment beta-XIIa has been developed. This procedure includes the traditional chromatography steps and FPLC. Disc-electrophoresis revealed that the preparations of factor XII and beta-XIIa were homogeneous. Their specific activity was 70.6 U and 2.5 U, respectively. The procedure described is less time consuming and it allows to isolate these factors in the preparative quantities.

Despite numerous reports on the procoagulant activities of G-CSF, the effect of plerixafor on the hemostatic system is not clearly understood. This study aims to evaluate the effects of plerixafor on the hemostatic system when used for autologous stem cell mobilization (ASCM) for poor mobilizers (PM) with lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Patients who were performed ASCM with plerixafor in combination with GCSF were prospectively enrolled.

The plaques associated with Alzheimer's disease are formed as a result of the aggregation of Aβ peptides, which vary in length from 38 to 43 amino acids. The 1-40 peptide is the most abundant, while the 1-42 peptide appears to be the most destructive to neurons and/or glial cells in a variety of assays. We have demonstrated that aggregated Aβ, a state prior to plaque formation, will activate the plasma bradykinin-forming pathway when tested in vitro.

Objective: To establish the reference intervals of plasma Plasminogen, Factor XII activity, and Factor XIII Antigen in healthy adults in Guangzhou.
Methods: A total of 168 young people (75 males and 93 females, aged 18-65 years) who underwent physical examination in Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University from 2020 to 2022 were recruited. Sysmex CS5100 automatic coagulation analyzer and matching reagents were used to detect Plasminogen.
