The role of graphical models in the assessment of transfer evidence is described with particular reference to the role of cross-transfer evidence. The issues involved in the determination of factors (nodes), associations (links) and probabilities to be included are discussed. Four types of subjective probabilities are of particular interest: those for transfer, persistence and recovery; innocent acquisition; relevance; innocent presence. Examples are given to illustrate the roles of various aspects of the suspect's and victim's lifestyle and the investigation of the evidence found on the suspect and victim in assessing the probability of ultimate issue, that the suspect committed the crime.

Purpose: The goal of this trial was to determine whether low-load blood flow-restricted (BFR) exercise of appendicular muscles induces a cross-transfer of effect to the trunk extensor (TE) muscles, such that low-load TE exercise would enhance TE size and function to a greater extent than standard low-load exercise in people with recurrent low back pain (LBP). We also investigated the direct effects of BFR exercise in the appendicular muscles.
Methods: Thirty-two adults with recurrent, nonspecific LBP were randomized into two groups: Appendicular BFR exercise (BFR exercise) or control exercise (CON exercise).

Summary Answer: Corticosterone (CORT) exposure causes little damage to oocyte quality or developmental competence but has an adverse effect on the uterus, which causes decreased implantation, embryo death and subsequent infertility.
What Is Known Already: Chronic treatment with high GC doses is effective in controlling most allergic diseases but may lead to metabolic disorders such as obesity that are closely related with reproductive function.
Study Design, Size, Duration: Hypercortisolism was induced in a female mouse model by supplementing the drinking water with 100 μg/ml of CORT.
