The coffee-ring effect, caused by uneven deposition of colloidal particles in perovskite precursor solutions, leads to poor uniformity in perovskite films prepared through large-area printing. In this work, the surface of SnO is roughened to construct a Wenzel model, successfully achieving a super-hydrophilic interface. This modification significantly accelerates the spreading of the perovskite precursor solution, reducing the response delay time of perovskite colloidal particles during the printing process.

: Depression often coexists with anemia, potentially sharing common pathways, highlighting the need for treatments addressing both conditions simultaneously. This study evaluated the effect of probiotics on red blood cell (RBC) parameters in adults with depressive disorder. We hypothesized that probiotics would positively influence RBC parameters, potentially modulated by baseline inflammation or dietary intake, with improved RBC function correlating with better antidepressant outcomes.

Long-term potentiation (LTP) and long-term depression (LTD) are widely used to study synaptic plasticity. However, whether proteins regulating LTP and LTD are altered in cognitive disorders and contribute to disease onset remains to be determined. Herein, we induced LTP and LTD in the hippocampal CA3-CA1 Schaffer collateral pathway, respectively, and then performed proteomic analysis of the CA1 region.

Glutamate delta receptor 1 (GluD1) is a unique synaptogenic molecule expressed at excitatory and inhibitory synapses. The lateral habenula (LHb), a subcortical structure that regulates negative reward prediction error and major monoaminergic systems, is enriched in GluD1. LHb dysfunction has been implicated in psychiatric disorders such as depression and schizophrenia, both of which are associated with GRID1, the gene that encodes GluD1.

Background: Reports indicate that depression is a common mental health issue following traumatic brain injury (TBI). Our prior research suggests that Nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3)-related neuroinflammation, modulated by glial cells such as astrocytes, is likely to play a crucial role in the progression of anxiety and cognitive dysfunction. However, there is limited understanding of the potential of astrocytic NLRP3 in treating depression under mild TBI condition.
