Background: Use of Direct Antiglobulin test (DAT) in management of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia is conflicting.
Objective: whether strength of positive DAT predicts the need for phototherapy, duration of phototherapy and need for major interventions.
Methods: We retrospectively collected data on all DAT positive neonates with birth gestational age ≥32 weeks over six years (2014-2019).

Introduction: Infants commonly require phototherapy in the nursery to prevent kernicterus, but it can interfere with parent-infant bonding. Minimizing unnecessary phototherapy is important. We noticed frequent delays in initiating and discontinuing phototherapy at our hospital.

Objectives: To describe characteristics of neonates with severe neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia (SNH) and to gain more insight in improvable factors that may have contributed to the development of SNH.
Design And Setting: Descriptive study, based on national Dutch perinatal audit data on SNH from 2017 to 2019.
Patients: Neonates, born ≥35 weeks of gestation and without antenatally known severe blood group incompatibility, who developed hyperbilirubinaemia above the exchange transfusion threshold.

Introduction: Survival following lung transplantation (LTx) is limited by the development of chronic lung allograft dysfunction (CLAD), for which there are few effective therapies and no standardized management. Several small studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) as a therapeutic option for CLAD.
Methods: A retrospective descriptive audit of 12 LTx recipients who received rescue ECP for CLAD over 5 years (2013-2018) at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia, was completed.
