Urban woodland composition and configuration have strong associations with land surface temperatures (LST), but the evidence is contradictory due to different spatial scales, regional climate zones, woodland types and urban contexts. In this study, we analyse associations between urban woodland and LST within and between five cities in different Köppen climate zones. Our consistent methodology is framed around local climate zones and conducted at a fine spatial scale.

Introduction: Using non-medicinal oral contrast agents may aid safe delivery of magnetic resonance image-guided (MR-guided) radiotherapy by improving the ability to visualise and avoid excessive radiation dose to adjacent bowel/stomach. This scoping review aims to map the literature on non-medicinal oral contrasts used in upper-abdominal diagnostic or therapeutic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to find potential candidates for employing in MR-guided radiotherapy and identify gaps in knowledge for further study.
Methods: A scoping review of non-medicinal oral contrast used in upper-abdominal MRI research followed a pre-defined protocol based on Arksey and O'Malley's framework.

Owing to critical policy significance, a growing body of literature has been predominantly concentrating on the social welfare benefits brought by green finance (GF) initiatives. However, there is a paucity of research that quantifies the economic costs of GF initiatives on carbon reduction, raising the increasing concerns about the irreconcilable climate-economy trade-offs. To end this, the present study systematically investigates the influence of GF initiatives on the carbon-related marginal abatement cost (MAC) using two competing hypotheses: regulatory versus technical effects.

Understanding the biomechanics of the unstable shoulder is critical to determine the most appropriate treatment. This study intends to examine how women's empowerment directly or indirectly impacts their children's well-being. Since prior research primarily focussed on the effects of maternal empowerment on specific domains of child well-being, such as healthcare or education, this study seeks to explore a more comprehensive understanding of child well-being, where child well-being is quantified using four domains, viz., physical well-being, psycho-social well-being, educational well-being and awareness of safety.
