The existing table of stages of the normal development of the axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) ends just after hatching. At this time, the forelimbs are small buds. In this study, we extend the staging series through completion of development of the forelimbs and hindlimbs.

Unlabelled: "Single Model initial-condition Large Ensembles" (SMILEs) conducted with Earth system models have transformed our ability to quantify internal climate variability and forced climate change at local and regional scales. An important consideration in their experimental design is the choice of initialization procedure as this influences the duration of initial-condition memory, with implications for interpreting the temporal evolution of both the ensemble-mean and ensemble-spread. Here we leverage the strategic design of the 100-member Community Earth System Model version 2 (CESM2) SMILE to investigate the dependence of ensemble spread on the method of initialization (micro- vs.

Background: Glioblastoma (GB) is the stage IV of glioma and mesenchymal GB represents the most common and malignant subtype characterized with elevated expression of a mesenchymal marker YKL-40 and resistance to immune drug therapy. Here, we determined if YKL-40 regulates kynurenine (Kyn) pathway (KP) metabolism that contributes to establishing an immune suppressive microenvironment in GB.

Methods: Tumor cells expressing YKL-40 from GB patients were isolated and activated cellular metabolisms were identified via gene microarray analysis.

Background: The rise of Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping healthcare, particularly in medical imaging. In this emerging field, clinical imaging personnel need proper training. However, formal AI education is lacking in medical curricula, coupled with a shortage of studies synthesising the availability of AI curricula tailored for clinical imaging personnel.

In recent years, the fall armyworm, has rapidly emerged as a global invasive pest, challenging the maize production and leading to considerable economic losses. Developing resistant hybrids is essential for sustainable maize cultivation, which requires a comprehensive understanding of resistance traits and the underlying mechanisms in parental lines. To address this need, the present study aimed to identify the sources of resistance, age and stage-specific effects and role of phytochemicals in plant defense against in thirty diverse maize parental lines [17 female (A) and 13 male (R) lines].
