Background And Aim: The Nurses' Cancer Pain Management Competency Scale is a tool to explore nurses' competencies and subjective experiences in cancer pain management, and to help nurses understand their current shortcomings in cancer pain management. Furthermore, based on the scale's specific score, nurses can evaluate their lack of understanding about cancer pain management, advance research into this area, and enhance their capacity to control cancer pain while providing patient care. The scale is currently available only in English and in Chinese.

HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND) is a complex neurological complication resulting from human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, affecting about 50% of individuals with HIV and significantly diminishing their quality of life. HAND includes a variety of cognitive, motor, and behavioral disorders, severely impacting patients' quality of life and social functioning. Although combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) has greatly improved the prognosis for HIV patients, the incidence of HAND remains high, underscoring the urgent need to better understand its pathological mechanisms and develop early diagnostic methods.

Despite extensive research on absolute pitch (AP), there remains no gold-standard task to measure its presence or extent. This systematic review investigated the methods of pitch-naming tasks for the classification of individuals with AP and examined how our understanding of the AP phenotype is affected by variability in the tasks used to measure it. Data extracted from 160 studies (N = 23,221 participants) included (i) the definition of AP, (ii) task characteristics, (iii) scoring method, and (iv) participant scores.
