Objectives: Infarctions of the posterior limb of the internal capsule (plIC) typically cause contralateral motor deficits. Cases with pure agraphia, writing impairments alone, are rare. We present a case of agraphia as the sole symptom after a small infarction in the anterior portion of the left plIC, which facilitates understanding of the interplay between the subcortical and cortical networks controlling writing.

: The incidence of mood disorders in adolescents is increasing. Bipolar disorder is often misdiagnosed in the early stages of the disease due to the prevalence of depressive symptoms, while manic episodes occur later. Identifying predictors of diagnosis conversion could facilitate timely and appropriate treatment.

It is potentially lethal if untreated and is associated with multiple comorbidities, including fertility issues, obesity, insulin resistance, and dyslipidemia. CAH can result from variants in multiple genes, but the most frequent cause is deletions and conversions in the segmentally duplicated RCCX module, which contains the gene and a pseudogene.

Psychogenic pseudosyncope is one of the primary causes of transient loss of consciousness in children and adolescents, essentially classified as a conversion disorder that significantly impacts patients' quality of life. Clinically, psychogenic pseudosyncope shares certain similarities with vasovagal syncope in terms of pre-syncope symptoms and triggers, making it sometimes difficult to differentiate and easily misdiagnosed. Therefore, placing emphasis upon the characteristics of psychogenic pseudosyncope is crucial for early identification and treatment, which holds significant importance for the mental and psychological health of children and adolescents.

Variations in hue and contrast are common in H&E-stained pathology images due to differences in slide preparation across various institutions. Such stain variations, while not affecting pathologists much in diagnosing the biopsy, pose significant challenges for computer-assisted diagnostic systems, leading to potential underdiagnosis or misdiagnosis, especially when stain differentiation introduces substantial heterogeneity across datasets from different sources. Traditional stain normalization methods, aimed at mitigating these issues, often require labor-intensive selection of appropriate templates, limiting their practicality and automation.
