Purpose: To evaluate the effects of ocular residual astigmatism (ORA) on refractive outcomes for patients with astigmatism after keratorefractive lenticule extraction (KLEx) and to identify the ratio of the ORA/manifest refractive cylinder at the corneal plane (MRC) resulting in a greater index of success (IOS).
Methods: In total, 892 right eyes that underwent KLEx surgery were included. Astigmatic changes were evaluated using Alpins' vector analysis.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the optimal shape of customized lenticules for stromal lenticule addition keratoplasty (SLAK) for off-centered ectasia.
Methods: Two different methods to create ex vivo models of eccentric-keratoconus were investigated. Twelve human corneas were used to create model 1 by a hyperopic photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), and model 2 by masked phototherapeutic keratectomy (PTK) on the anterior corneal surface, whereas both types received myopic ablation of the posterior surface.

Purpose: To analyze the visual outcome and complications of Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK) with their management in 256 eyes at a tertiary eye care center in southern India.
Methods: This is a retrospective interventional study of 62 months duration conducted at a tertiary eye care center in southern India. Two hundred and fifty-six eyes of 205 patients were included in the study after obtaining written informed consent from the patients.

To investigate the correlation between corneal biomechanical characteristics ( and ) and corneal densitometry in myopia. The Pentacam (Oculus, Wetzlar, Germany) corneal densitometry (CD) and Corvis ST (Oculus, Wetzlar, Germany) exams were conducted prior to surgery for myopic patients who were intended to undergo small-incision lenticule extraction (SMILE). CD values (grayscale units, GSUs), and biomechanical parameters were obtained.

Objectives: To summarize the clinical manifestations, microbiological profile, treatment, and prognosis of corneal infections after different keratorefractive surgery.
Methods: To obtain relevant studies, English-language databases, including PubMed, Ovid Embase, Web of Science, and CLNAHL, were searched from January 1979 to March 2022. The fundamentals of the literature, clinical characteristics, pathogens, and treatments were retrieved for each included article.
