We report a case of acute stent recoil occurring after the stenting of an ostial left main coronary artery lesion. The marked recoil after high-pressure balloon inflation confirmed that the radial force of the first stent was unable to ensure vessel patency. The addition of a second stent provided the necessary support to achieve a good final result. This case illustrates a possible complication of aorto-ostial angioplasty that could be treated with double stenting.

Background And Aims: Pancreatic fluid collections (PFCs), including walled-off necrosis (WON), are significant complications of acute pancreatitis, and their management often involves drainage, although the optimal type of stent for this purpose remains uncertain. This meta-analysis aimed to compare metal versus plastic stents for endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided drainage of PFCs.
Methods: We searched PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing metal with plastic stents for drainage of PFCs.

Background: Stress hyperglycemia ratio is a novel indicator of acute coronary synthesis (ACS), which is closely related to the severity and complications of ACS and other cardiovascular diseases. However, its relationship with the progression of non target coronary lesions remains unclear. The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between stress hyperglycemia ratio and the progression of non target coronary lesions.

Background: There are limited comparative data on real-world outcomes of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of the left main (LM) and non-LM coronary arteries.
Methods: 873 consecutive patients undergoing LM PCI (n=256) and non-LM PCI (n=617) were enrolled between September 2019-March 2023 in the Excellence in Coronary Artery Disease (XLCAD) Registry. Primary outcome was 1-year incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE), a composite of all-cause death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, clinically driven repeat revascularization and ischemic stroke.

Background And Aims: Factors predicting the need for step-up procedures after EUS-guided drainage (EUS-FCD) of peripancreatic fluid collections (PFCs) were explored in retrospective studies restricted to Walled-Off Necrosis (WON) and Lumen Apposing Metal Stents (LAMS).
Methods: All consecutive candidates for EUS-FCD between 2020-2024 were included in a Prospective Registry of Therapeutic EUS (PROTECT, NCT04813055), with prospective monthly follow-up evaluating clinical success, adverse events and recurrences. Prospectively assessed baseline clinical and morphological factors, including the Quadrant-Necrosis-Infection (QNI) classification, were included in a stepwise logistic regression model to predict the need for step-up.

Objective: Treating wide-necked bifurcation aneurysms (WNBA) is challenging. Nevertheless, recent progress in endovascular techniques is promising. Woven EndoBridge devices (WEB) have exhibited outcomes comparable to conventional treatments like stent-assisted coiling (SAC) in treating aneurysms.
