Toxic shock syndrome secondary to Group A infection is a rare but serious cause of women's morbidity and mortality which can easily be misdiagnosed. A 37-year-old woman presented to the emergency department in a state of shock after a two-day history of abdominal pain, fever, diarrhoea and green vaginal discharge. Following extensive investigations, she was proved to have septic shock secondary to Group A Despite receiving intravenous antibiotics, she required explorative laparotomy, which proceeded to subtotal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingectomy.

Background: Numerous studies have shown a link between circadian rhythms disruptions and a higher risk of obesity. This article aims to conduct an extensive bibliometric analysis to deepen our understanding of the relationship between circadian rhythms and obesity.
Methods: The literature related to the circadian rhythm of obesity, published from the inception of the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) until June 30, 2024, was extracted from the WoSCC databases (SCIE, SSCI, ESCI).

Recent years have seen an emphasis on delivering mental health and wellbeing support in school settings. However, the process by which schools meet this resource allocation challenge is largely undocumented. Our study used theory-building process tracing to develop a mechanistic understanding of the process of mental health investment in schools.

Objectives: incidental thyroid nodules (ITNs) are found in up to 25% of CT scans. Increased use of cross-sectional imaging has contributed to the increased incidence of thyroid cancer worldwide. ITNs pose a management dilemma since nodule malignancy rate is 5-15% but most cancers are indolent and prognosis in differentiated thyroid cancer is excellent.

While convex skin barriers have been used in patient care for decades, regulatory bodies and manufacturers have not established consistent parameters for measuring the most essential characteristics of a convex skin barrier. A transdisciplinary panel of manufacturers, engineers, marketing specialists and clinical subject matter experts from the United States was convened to address this gap. An initial consensus meeting was held to establish consensus around measurement parameters for 5 characteristics of convex skin barriers: depth, slope, flexibility, compressibility, and tension location.
