Objectives: Restrictive policies on abortion and gender-affirming care have increased in recent years, particularly in some Midwest states, and can have a disproportionate impact on young people. We sought to explore adolescent perspectives on such policies.

Study Design: We conducted virtual semistructured interviews with 39 participants aged 16 to 19 residing in the Midwest between April and June 2023, exploring participant reactions to state policies on abortion and gender-affirming care.

Aim: While manual vacuum aspiration (MVA) is commonly employed for early first-trimester abortions, its effectiveness in treating hydatidiform mole is still unclear. This study sought to evaluate the efficacy and safety of MVA in comparison to dilation and curettage (D&C) for managing hydatidiform mole.

Background: The unmet need for contraception among adolescent women in India is a significant public health concern, contributing to unintended pregnancies and abortions. This paper seeks to examine the regional variations and factors driving rural-urban disparities in unmet family planning needs in Uttar Pradesh (UP), India's most populous state, where the total unmet need among adolescents is as high as 19%.

Methods: The study is based on 11,018 adolescent women from the recent round of India's DHS, NFHS-5 (2019-21).

Objectives: During the COVID-19 pandemic, global health systems faced unprecedented challenges, as well as in maternal and neonatal health, thus this study aims to clarify the impacts of COVID-19 on maternal and neonatal disorders (MNDs), regional variations, and the role of economic support.

Methods: We have developed a counterfactual model integrating Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average and Long Short-Term Memory models to forecast the burden of MNDs from 2020 To et al., 2021, which was compared with the actual burden to quantify the specific impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on MNDs.
