Regenerative medicine utilizes stem cells to repair damaged tissues by replacing them with their differentiated cells and activating the body's inherent regenerative abilities. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are adult stem cells that possess tissue repair and regenerative capabilities and immunomodulatory properties with a much lower risk of tumorigenicity, making them a focus of numerous clinical trials worldwide. MSCs primarily exert their therapeutic effects through paracrine effects via secreted factors, such as cytokines and exosomes.

: Although multimodal pain therapy (MPT) is widely used in pain management for chronic cervical radiculopathy, its effect on increasing muscle strength in patients with cervical radiculopathy is not well documented. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of a structured multimodal pain management program on muscle strength in these patients, using objective strength measurements as indicators of therapeutic success. : This non-randomized, uncontrolled, prospective clinical study initially included 35 patients, but 10 were excluded due to incomplete data, resulting in a final sample of 25 patients (14 women and 11 men, aged 42 to 84 years) with cervical radiculopathy who underwent a multimodal pain management program at a specialized orthopedic clinic.

Secondary mitral regurgitation (SMR) is characterized by a pathological process impacting the left ventricle (LV) as opposed to the mitral valve (MV). In the absence of structural alterations to the MV, the expansion of the LV or impairment of the papillary muscles (PMs) may ensue. A number of technical procedures are accessible for the purpose of determining the optimal resolution for MR.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, reducing aerosol-generating procedures became fundamental, particularly in ophthalmic surgeries traditionally performed under general anesthesia (GA). Regional anesthesia, such as sub-Tenon's block (STB), is widely used in vitreoretinal surgeries, offering a safer alternative by avoiding airway manipulation. However, the altered orbital anatomy in patients with previous scleral explant surgery creates unique challenges to STB application.

Cellular rejuvenation therapies represent a transformative frontier in addressing age-related decline and extending human health span. By targeting fundamental hallmarks of aging-such as genomic instability, epigenetic alterations, mitochondrial dysfunction, and cellular senescence-these therapies aim to restore youthful functionality to cells and tissues, offering new hope for treating degenerative diseases. Recent advancements have showcased a range of strategies, including epigenetic reprogramming, senolytic interventions, mitochondrial restoration, stem cell-based approaches, and gene-editing technologies like CRISPR.
