Background: Online educational programs have emerged as a promising tool for promoting health literacy (HL) among multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. However, identifying influencing factors is crucial for maximizing their effectiveness.

Purpose: Brace treatment for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis is recognized as effective if the brace is worn as prescribed (20 to 23 hrs/day). Because of its negative biopsychosocial impact on adolescent patients' quality of life, brace adherence is a common problem (average bracewear of 12 hrs/day). The purpose of this paper is to develop an interprofessional support intervention model to enhance brace adherence in adolescents with scoliosis.

Background: To bridge the gap between symptoms and treatment, constructing case formulations is essential for clinicians. Limited scientific value has been attributed to case formulations because of problems with quality, reliability, and validity. For understanding, communication, and treatment planning beyond each specific clinician-patient dyad, a case formulation must convey valid information concerning the patient, as well as being a reliable source of information regardless of the clinician's theoretical orientation.

Transition from pediatric to adult health care setting is a challenge for young patients because of the psychosocial issues they may present that could hinder their commitment to treatment and medical care. Psychologists play a key role in supporting these patients. They intervene with the most vulnerable ones for whom the current transitional practice does not necessarily meet their specific needs and help them to develop an appropriate level of autonomy despite medical condition.
