Background: No studies have evaluated the impact of the cement distribution as classified on the basis of the fracture bone marrow edema area (FBMEA) in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on the efficacy of percutaneous vertebral augmentation (PVA) for acute osteoporotic vertebral fractures.
Methods: The clinical data of patients with acute, painful, single-level thoracolumbar osteoporotic fractures were retrospectively analyzed. The bone cement distribution on the postoperative radiograph was divided into 4 types according to the distribution of the FBMEA on the preoperative MRI.

Introduction: In recent years, advancements in chronic total occlusion (CTO) percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) have been notable, improving procedural techniques, imaging, and management of complications.
Aim: We sought to assess the performance and the practice of a high-volume Tunisian PCI center in treating patients with a CTO.
Methods: We retrospectively evaluated data from consecutive CTO patients who underwent percutaneous revascularization from October 2019 to January 2024 at the cardiology department of Habib Thameur Teaching Hospital, Tunisia.

Background: This study aims to determine the rate of surgical intervention in children with type IIA supracondylar humerus fractures (SCHF) following routine post-casting radiographic assessment. We hypothesized that no cases would convert to operative management following one-week post-casting alignment assessments.
Methods: This single-center retrospective study focused on pediatric patients diagnosed with type IIA SCHF from 2019 to 2022.

Background: Bicondylar tibial plateau fractures are often associated with significant soft tissue compromise making operative treatment challenging. Dual plating through a two-incision approach following temporary external fixation has been shown to improve complication rates although deep infection rates remain high. The objective was to evaluate early outcomes following a novel technique of percutaneous application of the medial plate superficial to the pes anserinus tendons.

Introduction: Thoracolumbar (TL) transition trauma is frequent and challenging. Although short- (SSPF) and long-segment posterior fixation (LSPF) are its mainstay treatment, little is known about their failure rates and reasons behind it.
Research Question: understand why TL instrumentations fail and what factors influence it.
