Influences of partners' views of the adult asthmatic's self-management and family environment were explored from the perspective of a collaborative care system. Adults (N = 172, 86 couples) completed questionnaires: perceived control of asthma, perceived ability to care for self, asthma quality of life (AQOL), and an asthma opinion survey. Significant relationships between perceptions of adults with asthma (AWA) and partners were found (r ranged from.32 to.74). Multiple regression analysis of partners' perceptions on AWA AQOL yielded a 3-factor solution (R(2) = 39%). Family cohesion had a significant effect on AWA AQOL (F [1, 168] = 4.43, p

Purpose Of Review: The exposome refers to the total environmental exposures a person encounters throughout life, and its relationship with human health is increasingly studied. This non-systematic review focuses on recent research investigating the effects of environmental factors-such as air pollution, noise, greenspace, neighborhood walkability, and metallic pollutants-on atherosclerosis, a major cause of cardiovascular disease.
Recent Findings: Studies show that long-term exposure to airborne particulate matter can impair endothelial function and elevate adhesion molecule levels, leading to vascular damage.

Symbiotic cnidarians, such as sea anemones and corals, rely on their mutualistic microalgal partners (Symbiodiniaceae) for survival. Marine heatwaves can disrupt this partnership, and it has been proposed that introducing experimentally evolved, heat-tolerant algal symbionts could enhance host thermotolerance. To test this hypothesis, the sea anemone Exaiptasia diaphana (a coral model) was inoculated with either the heterologous wild type or heat-evolved algal symbiont, Cladocopium proliferum, and homologous wild-type Breviolum minutum.

Background And Purpose: Comprehensive data on factors affecting partnership satisfaction among adolescents and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors are limited. Our study examines partnership satisfaction, sexual satisfaction, and attachment insecurities, exploring how attachment-related anxiety and avoidance influence the relationship between sexual and partnership satisfaction across major tumor entities in this population.
Patients And Methods: We utilized data from two measurement time points (t1 and t6) of the AYA-LE study, a prospective longitudinal investigation examining the temporal course and associated factors of life satisfaction and psychological distress among AYA cancer survivors.

Background: Drug use trends change rapidly among youth, leaving intervention experts struggling to respond promptly. Delays in responses can lead to preventable morbidity and mortality. The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the need for implementation science to facilitate rapid, equitable responses using existing treatment and prevention efforts.
