Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a cytokine that plays unique roles in both innate and adaptive immune cell homeostasis. While early studies suggested that IL-15 resembled IL-2, more recent work suggests that IL-15 may play multiple unique roles in immune homeostasis befitting its pleiotropic expression pattern. This review will focus on recent studies that highlight some of these functions.

Real-World data platforms for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) offer a unique opportunity to improve health equity through better understanding of health disparities and inclusivity in research, which is critical to translatability of research findings. AD research in the US and globally remains largely inaccessible to many individuals due to individual-level, study-level, investigator-level and larger systemic barriers. ALZ-NET, a US-based registry to evaluate longitudinal outcomes of patients being evaluated for or treated with novel FDA-approved AD therapy, and New IDEAS, an observational US-based longitudinal study of amyloid PET clinical utility, both offer opportunities for examining care, inclusivity, and disparities.

Background: Co-creation methods are increasingly being used in the research and development of technologies that support older adults living with dementia and their care partners to live well. Use of collaborative methods to engage with the dementia community helps to ensure that research processes and end solutions are sensitively designed, reflective of needs and values, and responsive to priorities. Engagement also has proximal benefits for older adults: Being involved in purposeful activity has been shown to positively impact health and wellbeing outcomes.
