Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed type of cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related death in women worldwide. Highly targeted therapies have been developed for different subtypes of breast cancer, including hormone receptor (HR)-positive and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive breast cancer. However, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and metastatic breast cancer disease are primarily treated with chemotherapy, which improves disease-free and overall survival, but does not offer a curative solution for these aggressive forms of breast cancer.

Oxidative stress (OS), generated by the overrun of reactive species of oxygen and nitrogen (RONS), is the key cause of several human diseases. With inflammation, OS is responsible for the onset and development of clinical signs and the pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease (AD). AD is a multifactorial chronic neurodegenerative syndrome indicated by a form of progressive dementia associated with aging.

Introduction: Digital therapeutics (DTx) are an emerging phenomenon within the scientific landscape which is attracting considerable international interest. This review aimed to provide an overview of the definition and classification of DTx, focusing on the contribution that DTx may provide in the treatment of a lot of diseases, compared with pharmacological treatments and highlighting it strengthens and weaknesses into the European regulatory landscape.

Justifying a proposed government regulation intended to reduce firearm violence requires a conceptually sound estimate of the monetized value of that impact and how that value is distributed across the population. Some previous estimates do not serve as a valid basis for policy evaluation or are out of date. A nationally representative survey was conducted by the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research in August 2022 (n = 660).

Background: On April 15th, 2023, intense clashes involving heavy weapons and airstrikes occurred between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, leading to the displacement of almost 8.1 million people. The ongoing armed conflict in Sudan has led to a worsening humanitarian catastrophe, posing serious challenges to the country's health-care system and even its collapse.
