Dynamic hydrogels have attracted considerable attention in the application of flexible electronics, as they possess injectable and self-healing abilities. However, it is still a challenge to combine high conductivity and antibacterial properties into dynamic hydrogels. In this work, we fabricated a type of dynamic hydrogel based on acylhydrazone bonds between thermo-responsive copolymer and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) functionalized with hydrazide groups.

Although 3D printing is becoming a dominant technique for scaffold preparation in bone tissue engineering (TE), developing hydrogel-based ink compositions with bioactive and self-healing properties remains a challenge. This research focuses on developing a bone scaffold based on a composite hydrogel, which maintains its self-healing properties after incorporating bioactive glass and is 3D-printable. The plain hydrogel ink was synthesized using natural polymers of 1 wt % N-carboxyethyl chitosan, 2 wt % hyaluronic acid aldehyde, 0.

Eliminating persistent inflammation and choosing dressings that provide the best healing environment is key to promoting wound healing. Dynamic and reversible hydrogels have attracted much attention because of their capacity to adapt to irregular wound surfaces. Herein, oxidized hydroxyethyl starch (OHES) and hyaluronic acid (HA-ADH) were crosslinked via the dynamic acylhydrazone bond to form an anti-inflammatory function hydrogel (HA-ADH/OHES@XT) that could release xanthatin (XT) slowly.

In the search for new antitubercular compounds, we leveraged target-directed dynamic combinatorial chemistry (tdDCC) as an efficient hit-identification method. In tdDCC, the target selects its own binders from a dynamic library generated , reducing the number of compounds that require synthesis and evaluation. We combined a total of 12 hydrazides and six aldehydes to generate 72 structurally diverse -acylhydrazones.

3-Cyanopyridine derivatives are known for exhibiting excellent anticancer activity due to their strong capability to inhibit various biological targets, including Pim-1 kinase, survivin, and tubulin polymerization. On the other hand, N-acylhydrazones (NAH) are known to be a very versatile motif in medicinal chemistry and drug design. Based on these data, we report in this paper, the synthesis of novel 3-cyanopyridines incorporating N-acyl hydrazine scaffold, the evaluation of their cytotoxicity on the breast (MCF-7) and ovarian (A-2780) cancer cell lines and their antioxidant properties.
