Left bundle branch pacing (LBBP) is an emerging physiological pacing technique characterized by stable pacing parameters and a narrower QRS duration. This study aims to compare the long-term efficacy and safety of biventricular pacing (BIVP) and LBBP in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and complete left bundle branch block (CLBBB). A retrospective analysis was conducted on 35 patients with chronic HFrEF accompanied by CLBBB treated at our center from April 2018 to October 2022.

Background: Left ventricular assist devices (LVADs) are utilized as a therapeutic option for patients with end-stage heart failure. While LVAD implantation can enhance survival rates and quality of life, the procedure has its risks, and postoperative complications are common. This review aims to investigate whether there is an association between living in a rural area and the incidence of postoperative complications or hospital readmissions following LVAD implantation, compared to urban LVAD recipients.

Background: Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) patients often receive consecutive intensive chemotherapy, which can lead to gastrointestinal complications and acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), placing patients at high nutritional risk.
Aim: This retrospective study aimed to evaluate the benefits of nutritional support in maintaining nutritional status, reducing weight loss without increasing the incidence of catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI) or liver dysfunction, and improving clinical outcomes in HSCT patients at high nutritional risk.
Methods: A total of 526 patients who underwent HSCT were included in the study.

Introduction: Transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis is a pathology increasingly encountered in all hospital departments, including internal medicine. The aim of our study is to describe the characteristics and care pathway of patients with transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis in internal medicine and to show that the number of patients diagnosed is increasing.
Methods: Descriptive, retrospective, non-interventional, single-center study at Strasbourg University Hospitals (HUS).

Background And Aim: The possible clinical utility of Bone Morphogenetic Protein 10 (BMP10), a novel atrial-specific biomarker, is incompletely understood. We aimed to test the hypothesis that BMP10 has high diagnostic and prognostic accuracy in patients presenting with acute dyspnea.
Methods And Results: In a multicenter diagnostic study, BMP10, high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT), and N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) concentrations were determined in patients presenting with acute dyspnea to the emergency department.
