Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by joint swelling, pain, and bone remodeling. We previously reported that autotaxin (ATX) deficiency disrupts lipid rafts in macrophages. Lipid raft disruption results in the dysregulation of RANK signaling, which is crucial for osteoclastogenesis and the pathogenesis of RA.

Fractures involving the proximal ulna and radial head are common injuries that occur in the upper extremity, often resulting from traumatic incidents such as falls or direct impact. The proximal ulna forms the elbow joint with the humerus, while the radial head articulates with both the humerus and the ulna, facilitating forearm rotation. Fractures in these areas can disrupt the stability and function of the elbow joint, leading to pain, swelling, and limited range of motion.

Pedicle ossification is a rare but significant complication following mandibular reconstruction using a fibular free flap (FFF), a technique widely employed in maxillofacial surgery due to its reliable vascularized bone supply and low donor site morbidity. The FFF supports dental implantation and prosthetic rehabilitation, with its vascularized periosteum enhancing osteogenic potential. Despite these advantages, unexpected ossification of the flap's vascular pedicle may occur, potentially mimicking tumor recurrence and causing diagnostic uncertainty.

Deep femoral artery aneurysms are very rare; particularly when isolated and occur simultaneously in both limbs. We report such a case of a misdiagnosed 16-year-old male presenting after hematoma evacuation was attempted for painful swelling in the left groin. Once the diagnosis was confirmed by computed tomography angiography (CTA), an emergency aneurysmectomy with deep femoral artery (DFA) ligation was performed on the left limb.
