One effective strategy to enhance the output capacity of NGs is to modulate the piezoelectric performance of the textiles. This paper focuses on further improving the piezoelectric properties of nylon-11,11 textiles through post-drawing and annealing treatments.

Purpose Of Review: Malnutrition is a significant comorbidity in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), contributing to disease progression and reduced quality of life. This narrative review examines the role of nutritional therapy in the prevention and management of malnutrition in COPD, emphasizing evidence-based approaches and their clinical implications.
Recent Findings: COPD patients face increased metabolic demands, systemic inflammation, and reduced dietary intake, resulting in muscle wasting, sarcopenia, and cachexia.
Background/aims: Certain sociodemographic groups are routinely underrepresented in clinical trials, limiting generalisability. Here, we describe the extent to which enriched enrolment approaches yielded a diverse trial population enriched for older age in a randomised controlled trial of a blood-based multi-cancer early detection test (NCT05611632).
Methods: Participants aged 50-77 years were recruited from eight Cancer Alliance regions in England.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a common central neurodegenerative disease disorder characterized primarily by cognitive impairment and non-cognitive neuropsychiatric symptoms that significantly impact patients' daily lives and behavioral functioning. The pathogenesis of AD remains unclear and current Western medicines treatment are purely symptomatic, with a singular pathway, limited efficacy, and substantial toxicity and side effects. In recent years, as research into AD has deepened, there has been a gradual increase in the exploration and application of medicinal plants for the treatment of AD.
