Introduction: Among techniques for short spermatic vessels in nonpalpable undescended testis (UDT), the Fowler-Stephens (F-S) procedure is the most favored. However, traction methods have regained popularity with gradual testicular tension for elongation to avoid ligating the spermatic vessels.
Objective: To compare two techniques for low intra-abdominal UDT with a short spermatic cord: staged laparoscopic F-S and a modified staged open traction technique, and to determine if long-practicing surgeons should change their preferred method.

Chronic aortic dissection is a complex disease with a heterogenous clinical course. Specialised imaging is necessary for the long-term surveillance of this disease to identify patients who meet the criteria for intervention, and to monitor surgically treated patients for complications. Whilst computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging are the most widely utilised modalities, providing a high degree of anatomical detail and reproducible aortic measurements, they are not without significant limitations.

Laser speckle flowgraphy (LSFG) offers a non-invasive, accessible means to evaluate ocular blood flow. A case of a woman in her 70s presenting with 6 months of ocular injection following cataract surgery is presented in this report. LSFG measurements indicated lower mean blur rate (MBR) values in the affected eye compared with the healthy eye, though a decrease was also noted in the healthy eye.

Background: Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 is a new positron imaging agent, and its application in bone metastasis has been limited. The purpose of this retrospective study was to compare the diagnostic ability of Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT and F-FDG PET/CT to detect bone metastases in patients with different types of cancer.
Methods: A total of 293 patients with pathologically confirmed primary malignancies were examined with Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT and F-FDG PET/CT within one week.

Objective: To explore the value of native T1 and apparent diffusion coefficients (ADC) for predicting subtypes and stages of thymic epithelial tumors (TETs).
Methods: Sixty-seven patients with TETs confirmed by pathological analysis were retrospectively enrolled. The mean native T1 (T1mean), global native T1 (ADCtotal), relative minimum ADC (ADCmin), and global ADC (ADCtotal) values of the tumor were measured and compared for differences among low-risk thymoma (LRT), high-risk thymoma (HRT), and thymic carcinoma (TC).
