Objective: Magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound (MRgFUS) is a novel noninvasive interventional technique for osteoid osteoma (OO). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of MRgFUS in the treatment of OO through a systematic review and meta-analysis of pain scores and post-treatment adverse events before and after MRgFUS treatment.
Materials And Methods: A comprehensive literature search of PubMed, Embase, Web of science, and Cochrane Library databases was conducted to screen the study literature based on inclusion and exclusion criteria to extract and analyze pre- and post-treatment pain score data, success rates (complete pain relief with no recurrence until the last follow-up), recurrence rates, secondary intervention rates, and complications to evaluate the efficacy and/or safety of MRgFUS for OO.

Endodontic treatment in severely calcified canals is always a challenging task because it can result in accidents such as deviations or perforations. Recently, guided endodontics has become an alternative approach for pulp canal calcification, facilitating the location of root canals more predictably through the combined use of cone-beam computed tomographic imaging, oral scanning, and endodontic access guides. Although several reports have shown that guided endodontics is safer, faster and can be performed without an operating microscope and by less experienced operators, the technique has limitations, and iatrogenesis may occur.

Genetic mosaicism can manifest as spatially variable phenotypes that vary from site to site within an organism. Here, we use imaging-based phenomics to quantitate phenotypes at many sites within the axial skeleton of CRISPR-edited G0 zebrafish. Through characterization of loss-of-function cell clusters in the developing skeleton, we identify a distinctive size distribution shown to arise from clonal fragmentation and merger events.

Background: The abductor pollicis longus (APL) originates from the lateral part of the dorsal surface of the body of the ulna below the insertion of the anconeus muscle, from the interosseous membrane, and from the middle third of the dorsal surface of the body of the radius. However, the number of its accessory bands and their insertion vary considerably.
Materials And Methods: Fifty upper limbs (2 paired, 31 male, 19 female) were obtained from adult Caucasian cadavers, and fixed in 10% formalin solution before examination.
